What is the main mission of your company/organization?
Protect and Restore the North Carolina Coast.
How does that mission help contribute to the conservation of North Carolina’s lands and waters?
Focus on keeping our coastal environment healthy and productive by protecting and restoring water quality, wetlands, living shorelines, oysters, and sound coastal management.
How do those values align with the mission of NC Forever?

How does your organization benefit from partnering with NC Forever?
Broadens the partners we are able to work with to support our mission.
How does NC Forever benefit from having your organization participate?
Connects it directly to on-the-ground efforts to protect and restore our natural coast.
What are some specific projects in which your organization is particularly proud ?
Protected and restored hundreds of thousands of acres of wetlands since 1982, support initiatives that restore living shorelines, oysters, water quality, and degraded lands. Fostering growth in the shellfish mariculture industry.
Can you cite specific examples of how conservation efforts supported by the State have made a positive impact on your organization or those you serve?
Clean Water Management Trust Fund and Section 319 funding have enabled many of our projects. The Coastal Area Management Act is critical to helping advance our policy objectives.
