North Carolina Forever presented the latest in a series of educational webinars about issues facing our state’s lands and waters on November 10th from 2-3PM. The webinar, moderated by NC Forever board member and Director – Environmental Services at Martin Marietta Steve Whitt, was titled “NC Working Lands, Natural Resources & the Military: A Partnership for Mutual Gain” and will feature several prominent panelists. Additionally, NC Forever screened a video piece called “North Carolina Sentinel Landscapes” by NC Forever friend and producer of the popular UNC-TV series Exploring North Carolina.
Panelists for this webinar included Commissioner Steve Troxler of the NC Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Bruce Beard, Associate Director of the Texas A&M Natural Resources Institute and former director of DOD’s REPI Program, Chad Sydnor, Vice President of Cassidy & Associates, of Washington, DC, and Representative Grier Martin, of the NC House of Representatives and Chair of the NC Military Affairs Commission.
